For Allianz Care Australia OSHC and OVHC members where urgent treatment is required, you can now access community-based Urgent Care facilities which are an alternative to traditional emergency department treatment for conditions including: sprains or broken bones; cuts requiring stitches; minor eye or ear problems; minor burns and scalds; and insect and animal bites.
Allianz Care Australia has contractual arrangements in place with the following providers where the fees and charges for your treatment is directly billed to Allianz Care Australia.

All States:

The Australian Government has opened 58 Urgent Care Centres across Australia, with a further 29 to open before mid-2025, which OSHC and OVHC Members have access to. To find a location nearest to you, please refer to: https://www.health.gov.au/find-a-medicare-ucc

ACT:

Urgent care services in the ACT are provided by Canberra Health Services with walk-in centres located in Belconnen, Tuggeranong, Dickson, Weston and Gungahlin. For more information please visit Canberra Health Services.

NSW:

Urgent care services in NSW are currently being established in a number of different areas with 25 clinics planned in the coming years. Current services are available in the Western Sydney area. Services are provided by the Western Sydney Care Collective.

VIC:

Urgent care services in VIC are currently being established as Priority Primary Care Clinics across many areas of Victoria. To access services in your local area please refer to  https://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/priority-primary-care-centres-ppccs
